Plastics

SABIC Europe’s range of plastics produced and marketed in Europe include:

Polyolefins

Polyolefins are a family of plastics derived from propylene and ethylene. They make up the highest volume of thermoplastic products in the world. They form tough, flexible plastics with a large variety of uses.

Research and development are increasing the variety of polyolefins. As a result, they are steadily replacing traditional materials in many applications. What’s more, polyolefins are generally easy to recycle.

PVC, Polyester and PS

PVC and polyester are used in a wide variety of consumer, commercial, and industrial products that people around the world rely on every day. Polymers are used to make products that cannot be made from traditional materials such as wood, steel, glass or aluminium.
